Brain Malfunction and/or Overload

Good Morning!I was going through some of my blog posts and I have really sucked at Blogging lately. My apologies if I haven't been very "interesting." Ever since last week, I have been all out of it and not to mention, crazy busy with classes (even though it's only the first week back.)

Yesterday I went to the doc and he strongly suggests that I see a counselor, so that is what I am going to do! Anyways, I thought I would share some of the crafts I am working on.

Ribbons - Making bows is something I seem to turn to when I don't have much else to do. I have made some pretty cute ones lately. I made a VCU one, a UNC one (to wear when I'm rooting for my team!), and some simple solid colored ones. I even made some cute polka dot ones for my cousins.

Fleece Blanket - I still have not exchanged gifts with one of my best guy friends, so I bought him this really pretty white camouflage fleece and a solid forest green to complement it. Fleece tie blankets are so easy to make and they are so warm. I have a Dallas Cowboys one which I love!

Knit Gloves and Matching Scarf - I love knitting and it is also very good when it comes to handling my stress. I finished a blue ski cap over Thanksgiving which turned out beautiful, it just hasn't been cold enough to wear it. Well, I am working on a pair of blue, fingerless gloves to match the hat and a pink scarf that really complements the blue!

That is all for crafts at the moment. I am bogged down with school work and work work, but I love doing crafty stuff, so when I have a break and don't feel like reading, keeping my hands busy is perfect.

What crafts/ projects are y'all currently working on??

Until next time!

  1. Love it all! I used to love making those fleece blankets in high school... Okay I only made 1 but I loved doing it!

  2. You should make another one just to have as a comfy, go-to blanket. I also guarantee that Finn will love it! haha. Tucker was obsessed with mine!
